Healthcare reform?

I do not understand, if the U.S. healthcare system is the best in the world, then why do we need to reform the system? We do not need healthcare reform, we need healthcare costs reform. If they can figure out how to control the cost of healthcare, not by having more government funded healthcare, but just cap the damn costs of it, then more people could afford it. Eliminate those frivolous lawsuits, let doctors do their jobs, control the lawyers, then maybe we can havea good all encompassing system again.
